You can wipe them with a cloth, or dust them off with a duster occasionally, or even daily.
It is a lot easier to open, and close the blinds as compared to the curtains. They can easily be adjusted to the amount of light you want in your room. Blinds are available in a wide range of price, so you do not need to buy the expensive ones, and disturb your budget. Another plus point is that they only cover the window area without taking up much of the space.
Choosing a blind or curtain depends on your own requirement. If you frequently change the dcor of your living room, it is better to use blinds, as they are not much expensive, and they are easily manageable. For people with a limited budget, blinds are a very reasonable option. However, if your living room dcor is more of a conventional style, then the curtains are the best option. The heavy chic fabric of the curtains adds grace, and elegance to your room, which cannot be done with the blinds.
